The 14th National Congress of the Party created a new wave of vitality, receiving special attention from public opinion, especially cadres, Party members, and people from all walks of life in the northern region of Thai Nguyen province.
Immediately after the documents and resolutions of the Congress were disseminated, the phrase "The people are the foundation: The highest measure of all policy decisions" became the most frequently mentioned keyword in Party branch meetings and conversations among the people.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc, a Party member with over 30 years of Party membership, former Principal of the Bac Kan Provincial Political School (now Thai Nguyen Province), residing in Group 13 (Duc Xuan Ward), shared: “I am particularly impressed with the motto 'Speak less, do more, and see it through to the end' that the General Secretary emphasized. Party members and the people should not only listen to slogans but also look at how the Party solves the problems in people's lives. Placing the people as the yardstick for all decisions affirms the Party's character and the close, inseparable bond between the Party and the people.”
Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc added that the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam clearly demonstrates the Party's capacity, courage, steadfastness, and creativity. This is the foundation for people to place their trust in the upcoming strategic decisions. One of the core contents that attracts the attention of intellectuals and young people is the development goals for the period 2026-2030 and the vision to 2045. With the slogan "Great aspirations, firm steps," the Party has set out a specific roadmap to make Vietnam a developed, high-income country...
He hoped that when implementing the Party's Resolution at the local level, the Party committees and authorities at the provincial and grassroots levels would always listen to the opinions of the people, concretize the resolution with specific actions to exploit the potential and strengths of agricultural, forestry, and tourism development in the northern part of Thai Nguyen province to improve the lives and incomes of the people; and effectively implement national target programs so that the communes in the northern part of the province can develop similarly to those in the southern part…
Ms. Nguyen Thanh Huyen (a Party member of the Party cell in Group 6A, Duc Xuan Ward) commented: “The report not only outlines the goals but also clearly identifies three strategic breakthroughs and eight overarching contents to realize that vision. In particular, the identification of the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress as a 'breakthrough' shows the Party's high level of proactive action.”
Many opinions also highly appreciate the Party's drawing of five lessons learned from 40 years of Doi Moi (Renovation). These are considered a "guiding principle" for the Party to continue steering the country through the complex changes in the global situation, maintaining stability and sustainable development. The changes in the country under the Party's leadership over the past years have created a positive atmosphere of trust and expectation.
The people appreciate the Party's steadfastness in drafting the documents, ensuring continuity while still opening up new and groundbreaking directions.
In Thai Nguyen province, Ms. Huyen and the Party members in the Party branch pay special attention to implementation. For strategic decisions to be put into practice, the implementation phase plays a decisive role. Therefore, the spirit of "Speak less, do more, and see it through to the end" needs to be instilled from the central level down to every grassroots official.
With steady steps and a strong desire to excel, generations of Party members in the northern region of Thai Nguyen province are confident in a new term with new victories, leading the country steadily on the path of integration and development.
