According to locals, the mustard seeds were sown about a month ago. Thanks to the fertile soil and the cool climate characteristic of the plateau, the flowers bloom evenly, with thick petals and vibrant colors. They have been in bloom for about a week now and are expected to be in full bloom just in time for the Lunar New Year , a time when the number of tourists flocking to Moc Chau increases significantly.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Tien, a mustard flower farmer in Moc Chau ward, said that growing mustard flowers requires more meticulous care and additional investment in landscaping to attract tourists. After Tet (Lunar New Year), the area planted with mustard flowers is expected to be expanded to maintain a continuous blooming cycle, creating a year-round destination for tourists.

Mr. Kien, a local tourism worker, said that in the past, people in Moc Chau mainly grew mustard greens for their leaves and seeds to extract oil or use as feed for dairy cows. In recent years, as the fields of golden mustard greens have become more widely known, people have started developing experiential tourism. Growing mustard greens for tourism both preserves traditional production methods and generates additional income for the local people.

Currently, many gardens in Moc Chau have opened their doors to visitors for sightseeing and photography, with an entrance fee of around 30,000 VND per person, with no time limit. In the week leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), the area welcomes hundreds of visitors each day, mainly locals and tourists from neighboring provinces.
