At the commendation and reward ceremony, Colonel Pham Hai Dang - Deputy Director, Head of the Provincial Police Investigation Agency said: Regarding Project 0525L, up to now, Lai Chau Provincial Police has issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and issue arrest warrants to detain 55/61 subjects for fraud and property appropriation; 6 subjects have the role of team leader and manager in the criminal organization. By the time of being dismantled, the ring had appropriated more than 300 billion VND, with over 8,000 victims nationwide.

Promote the application of science and technology , digital transformation in police work, enhance training and foster professional capacity for forces directly involved in investigation, prosecution, and electronic data appraisal. Closely coordinate with sectors, levels and functional forces of neighboring countries to effectively fight transnational crimes. Promote propaganda and guidance for people to identify fraud tricks in cyberspace, especially in remote areas, ethnic minority areas, contributing to raising vigilance and awareness of law compliance among the people. Proactively advise the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee on building a coordination mechanism and sharing data among sectors: Police - banking - telecommunications - border defense... to prevent, stop and promptly handle this type of crime. The province will accompany and support the police force to effectively carry out the task of fighting in cyberspace.
