The program is part of the Tourism - Culture Week and the 2nd Lai Chau Marathon in 2025, aiming to honor outstanding works, contributing to promoting the beauty of nature, culture and people of Lai Chau through creative photography and video perspectives.
The ceremony was attended by comrade Nguyen Dinh Toan, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Deputy Head of the Contest Organizing Committee; representatives of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists; leaders of departments and branches; the Provincial Literature and Arts Association; Lai Chau Photography Association; reporters from central and local press agencies and the award-winning authors.
Representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism attending the program included Mr. Tran Quang Khang, Deputy Director of the Department, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest, along with leaders and experts of the Tourism Management Department.

At the event, the Organizing Committee will announce the results, award prizes to outstanding works and organize exhibition tours for the winning works. This is one of the important highlights of the series of activities to promote Lai Chau tourism in this year's Tourism - Culture Week.
According to the jury's assessment, the contest selected 24 excellent photo works and 08 best quality video clips. together 02 subsidiary awards for the works most loved by the online community in both categories. The winning works all met high requirements in terms of aesthetics, art, propaganda and promotion and strictly followed the contest rules.

Comrade Tran Quang Khang, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, awarded the sub-award for the photo and video clip category most voted by the online community.
The 2025 photo and video clip contest has attracted many quality works, vividly reflecting the natural landscape, culture, customs, life and new destinations of the province. Through the contest, the image of Lai Chau continues to be widely spread, contributing to promoting tourism development and enhancing the recognition of domestic and international destination brands.
