
Military forces support people to clean up after floods in D'ran commune, Lam Dong province
According to reports, the recent floods have caused severe damage in Lam Dong, killing 5 people, injuring 1 person, affecting more than 2,843 households; over 4,570 hectares of crops, 1.2 hectares of aquaculture and about 9,000 livestock and poultry were damaged. The whole province recorded 266 landslides, many traffic routes were cut off, with total estimated damage of more than 1,200 billion VND.
Up to now, the flooding in the province has ended, traffic has been basically restored, the environment has been cleaned, people have returned to normal life and production. The province has completed the allocation of 1,000 tons of rice from the national reserve to people affected by floods in 40 localities in the province.
Regarding the 500 billion VND support fund from the Central Government and other legal sources, the province is implementing allocation, prioritizing the construction of 76 completely collapsed houses and supporting the repair of damaged houses, while repairing essential infrastructure and important traffic systems, ensuring stable life and production for the people.
