Specifically, the province approved the construction of an emergency project to overcome landslides and ensure traffic safety on National Highway 28, from Km47+252 to Km54+000 (Gia Bac Pass, Son Dien Commune) with a total cost of 4.2 billion VND.

At D'ran Pass, National Highway 20, section Km262+400 to Km262+530 (D'ran Pass suspension bridge area, Xuan Truong ward - Da Lat), an emergency project was built to handle landslides with a budget of 5 billion VND.
Both projects are required to be completed within 45 days.

As reported by SGGP Newspaper, from October 26 to 30, prolonged heavy rains caused landslides and cracks in the roadbed and surface at many points on the two mountain passes, disrupting traffic and posing a high risk of insecurity for people and vehicles.

In particular, at D'ran Pass, the authorities were forced to completely ban all vehicles, making it very inconvenient for people to travel. Instead of the 6-7km distance as before, people had to take a detour of nearly 100km. Many students had to go through forests and coffee gardens to get to school.
