According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, in December, the locality will focus on organizing a series of international events to promote its image, attract tourists and expand investment cooperation opportunities. In particular, the Global Coffee Heritage 2025 Festival is considered an important highlight, contributing to building and affirming the Lam Dong coffee brand on the world map.
The festival will take place at Lam Vien Square (Da Lat ward), with an exhibition space of 34 booths introducing coffee and culinary products, along with a series of cultural - artistic - experiential - connecting activities lasting throughout the festival season. This is also a follow-up event to the 2025 Southeast Asian Gong Festival, creating a "grand scene" of the year-end festival to attract domestic and foreign tourists to Lam Dong province.

According to Ms. Bich Ngoc, this festival will bring many unique activities for people and tourists such as experiencing coffee culture of different countries, performing manual roasting and brewing, exploring the origin and journey of coffee beans. Here, visitors can directly interact with artisans, producers and baristas, thereby understanding more deeply about Vietnamese coffee culture, one of the most multi-layered and unique coffee cultures in the region.
An attractive highlight of this year's festival is the "Global Coffee Journey Week" recreating the coffee space on the train - Heritage Journey at Da Lat station. The 1932 old train car has been restored into "Da Lat Coffee Tour - Coffee Heritage Train Car" which will bring a unique experience, connecting architectural heritage with coffee heritage. The festival will also display an art painting made from Robusta coffee beans that has been set a Vietnamese Record, contributing to creating more attraction for tourists and the creative community.

In addition, trade and investment activities are also focused on as the event is expected to open up opportunities for the development of the coffee industry according to the creative industry model. The festival also creates a foundation for the formation of new international initiatives such as: Vietnam - World Coffee Alliance (GCA), aiming to enhance the value of Vietnamese coffee beans and expand Vietnam's voice in the global coffee industry; organize the International Barista Competition (The Global Coffee Heritage Competition 2025) to gather talented baristas from Vietnam and many countries.
The competition consists of three rounds of assessment of skills, creative identity and the ability to tell cultural stories through each cup of coffee. This will be an international playground where “heritage keepers” interact, spread the spirit of creativity and contribute to promoting sustainable development of the global coffee industry.
Ms. Le Hoang Diep Thao, Founder and CEO of TNI King Coffee, hopes that the festival will position Da Lat as an international coffee destination, attracting global tourists during the year-end festival season, while affirming the new position of Vietnamese coffee on the world map.
