On November 12, Lam Dong province authorities were still working with fishermen to salvage many sunken fishing boats.
Earlier, on the afternoon of November 11, large waves and strong winds sank two fishing boats anchored at Ba Dang estuary (Tan Hai commune). In the evening, dozens of people, including fishermen, along with authorities and machinery, pulled one fishing boat ashore; the other boat is still being salvaged.

Also on the same day, the Lam Dong Provincial Border Guard Command reported that five fishing boats were sunk by large waves. At the estuary of village 14 (Lien Huong commune), large waves and strong winds sank four fishing boats, including fishing boat BTh 81652 TS which was anchored on the shore; fishing boat BTh 80347 TS which was anchored and was washed ashore by waves, causing its bottom to break; fishing boat BTh 80316 TS which was completely sunk by waves; fishing boat BTh 82176 TS which was moving from the sea to the fishing port was also sunk by waves.

At La Gi fishing port, fishing boats BTh 80088 TS and BTh 85974 TS were moving into the port and were also sunk by large waves . Fortunately, the sinkings did not endanger human lives.
Previously, on November 8, large waves combined with rising, fast-flowing water also caused five fishing boats that were anchored to suddenly sink at the estuary of Lam Dong province.
