At around 1:00 p.m. on July 20, in the southern communes and wards of Lam Dong province such as Ward 1 Bao Loc, Ward 2 Bao Loc, Ward 3 Bao Loc, Ward B'Lao, Commune Bao Lam 1, Commune Bao Lam 2 and Bao Lam 2, heavy rain and strong winds caused trees to fall on the roads, causing local traffic jams. Many fallen trees broke power lines, causing local power outages and many lighting poles on some roads were broken and damaged.

According to initial statistics, in Ward 2 Bao Loc, Ward 1 and B'Lao Ward, 1 house had its roof completely blown off , at least 4 to 5 houses had water entering their houses causing severe flooding; many urban trees were broken, branches fell onto the road causing local traffic jams.
Similarly, in the communes of Bao Lam 1, Bao Lam 2 and Bao Lam 3, heavy rain and strong winds caused many trees to fall and block the road; some crops such as jackfruit and durian were also affected.
After heavy rain and tornadoes occurred, the authorities of communes and wards mobilized forces to support people in overcoming the consequences; at the same time, sawed trees to clear the scene to ensure traffic safety on the roads. At the same time, they counted the damage to review and support people to stabilize their lives.

Similarly, in Dan Binh village (Ham Kiem commune), the rain blew off the roofs of two houses, causing an estimated damage of VND100 million, and knocked down a low-voltage power pole, causing a power outage. The local authorities sent forces to help people clean up their belongings; at the same time, they notified the electricity company to handle the fallen power pole.
