Lam Dong province's potential for businesses and investors to choose production and business is still very large, in many fields.
Lam Dong after the merger is considered a “rendezvous” of potentials. Here there is Da Lat - a future smart ecological city; Dak Nong - a global geological heritage area with primeval forests and bauxite; and Binh Thuan - a sunny and windy coastal area, which is developing strongly with tourism, renewable energy and marine economy.
Tourism is one of the industries that Lam Dong focuses on developing, with many attractive types such as cultural tourism, community tourism, MICE tourism, eco-tourism, agricultural tourism and adventure sports tourism.
Lam Dong is also among the leading localities in the country in high-tech agricultural production, with more than 107,200 hectares; aquaculture area of 6,150 hectares. The province also has many famous agricultural brands.

Currently, Lam Dong Provincial Department of Finance has reviewed 2,934 investment projects in the area, classified them into eight main categories (including planning, site clearance, administrative procedures, technical infrastructure...), and assigned localities to directly resolve issues within their authority.
The province also actively supports businesses and guides investors in carrying out administrative procedures, from surveys to completing business investment dossiers, in order to maximize the time for implementing procedures and create the most favorable conditions for investors to implement projects.
In the first 10 months of 2025, the whole province had 42 newly granted non-budget investment projects with a total registered investment capital of VND 14,340.7 billion.

In May, June and July 2025, the province granted investment certificates to nine new projects in strategic areas such as digital transformation, tourism, real estate, processing industry and renewable energy, with an area of over 2,300 hectares and a total capital of over VND33 trillion.
Typical projects include the Ham Tien - Mui Ne Tourist Area project (granted and adjusted on July 5, area of 218 hectares, capital of 12 trillion VND, focusing on developing high-end resort tourism); Dak Nong Dairy Farming Area (more than 500 hectares, capital of 5,000 billion VND, aiming at agricultural processing industry); and Gia Hiep Model Residential Area (200 hectares, capital of 3,000 billion VND, contributing to building a green urban area).
In addition, 17 projects have completed procedures and are implementing investment and construction; 12 projects are carrying out investment preparation procedures, including Tan Phu - Bao Loc expressway, North - South expressway section Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh...
These projects not only resolve backlogs but also open up new development directions, with major investors focusing on developing socio-economic infrastructure, tourism and renewable energy.

With these efforts, Lam Dong hopes to attract large capital flows from strategic investors, opening up new development space, contributing to building an increasingly rich and civilized province.
