Lam Dong: Reservoir burst leaves one person missing

In the early morning of November 2, authorities were still searching for a missing person who was swept away by floodwaters due to a reservoir burst in Tuy Phong commune (Lam Dong).

According to initial information, on the evening of November 1, prolonged heavy rain caused the dam of a reservoir at a poultry farm on the mountain in Tuy Phong commune ( Lam Dong ) to break.

The dam burst caused a large amount of water to flow down to a nearby residential area. Many people moved to higher ground to avoid the flood. The large amount of water that poured down when the dam broke swept away many houses and properties. One person was swept away by the flood.

Authorities have moved people in flood-prone areas to safe locations. Tuy Phong Commune People's Committee is currently deploying its forces to respond to the flood and search for missing people.
