Lam Dong promotes investment in pillar industries

Lam Dong province has just approved the 2026 Investment Promotion Program, focusing on the province's strategic pillar industries such as: high-tech agriculture, clean energy, deep processing industry, high-quality tourism, marine economy and logistics.

High-tech agriculture is one of the key industries that continues to attract investment in the province.

Specifically, the province calls for investment in smart agricultural projects, applying techniques and automatic irrigation technology to save water; biological insect control technology; post-harvest preservation technology, and building value chains for cultivation, livestock, and processing that meet international standards.

In addition, the province creates all favorable conditions for businesses to research and invest in wind power, solar power, lake power, ICT industrial projects, digital technology, nanotechnology, and biotechnology in accordance with international standards on environment, maritime economic development, marine services, and coastal industry.

Lam Dong province also focuses on attracting investment in large-scale projects in high-quality tourism, sea sports tourism, MICE tourism, eco-tourism, luxury resorts, cultural tourism, sports tourism, medical tourism, adventure tourism and tourism associated with UNESCO heritage.

In particular, Lam Dong province attracts investment in developing key transport infrastructure projects such as: North-South high-speed railway (section passing through the province), expressways Tan Phu - Bao Loc, Bao Loc - Lien Khuong, Gia Nghia - Bao Loc - Phan Thiet, Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh, upgrading Lien Khuong Airport, building Phan Thiet Airport and seaports...

It is known that in 2026, Lam Dong province will organize at least 4 investment, trade and tourism promotion programs abroad. At the same time, continue to work with international organizations such as Jetro, Jica, Kotra, Eurocham, Vkbia to research and select participants in conferences and seminars held in Vietnam and abroad according to each partner and field.

In addition, Lam Dong province collects information, researches, analyzes, and evaluates the market and partners to determine trends and appropriate investment needs; connects and invites domestic and foreign enterprises to invest in key projects in the area.
