Lamborghini has officially introduced the Temerario GT3 race car, marking the first time a GT3 has been designed, developed and produced entirely in-house by the Squadra Corse team in Sant'Agata, Italy. This is the racing version of the Temerario, the new road-going supercar that will replace the Huracán in Lamborghini's portfolio.

The Lamborghini Temerario GT3 uses an aluminum and composite chassis, sharing the same platform as the production version, but has been thoroughly adapted for competition needs: lightweight, durable and easy to maintain.

The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, without the hybrid system like the street version, is tuned to comply with GT3 regulations, with an expected capacity of about 550 horsepower.

The suspension is derived from the SC63 LMDh supercar and is adjustable in six steps. The hydraulic steering provides precise feedback, while the track-specific six-speed sequential gearbox ensures fast and stable acceleration.

In particular, the new aerodynamic system is optimized to create high downforce while limiting drag, bringing higher performance than the Huracán GT3 Evo2. The Temerario GT3 does not have a factory racing team, but focuses on selling to private customers and professional racing teams worldwide.

The vehicle design allows quick disassembly of the body, front/rear subframe system and easy access to main components, serving well in harsh competition environments.

The car will make its official debut on the track at the start of the 2026 season, expected at Sebring or Daytona, and will be the new flagship car in Lamborghini's Super Trofeo racing series.

The Temerario GT3 is not just an upgrade of the Huracán, but a big step forward for Lamborghini in the GT3 racing segment. With a comprehensive design from the inside out, combining cutting-edge technology and an optimized philosophy for competition, it promises to be a strong competitor in the professional racing world in the near future.
