In a press release recently issued, Vietravel Airlines said: Following the results achieved in the first two months of the year, Vietravel Airlines, with the application of an effective business strategy, has achieved positive business results in March.
Specifically, Vietravel Airlines exceeded its target with March revenue reaching VND172.3 billion, up more than 54% compared to the plan. Thus, for the first time after more than 3 years of operation, Vietravel Airlines made a profit for 3 consecutive months, bringing in quarterly revenue of VND491.2 billion, up nearly 42% and net profit of VND10.1 billion.
The company also set out a business plan for April to continue to make a profit to maintain its growth momentum, provided that operations are carried out according to plan. The business target for the second quarter is expected to be VND1,049 billion in revenue.
Vietravel Airlines representative commented that in the current context of the domestic aviation market, some airlines have temporarily suspended operations and reduced production and exploitation, so the customer market share will expand for the remaining airlines.
In this context, Vietravel Airlines has been expanding its flight network and frequency domestically and internationally. In particular, Vietravel Airlines is operating charter flights in a series of charters with Vietravel travel agency, with the mission of connecting destinations and local cuisine such as: charter flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Takamatsu (Japan); Da Nang to Fukushima (Japan) and vice versa.
In preparation for the summer flight plan, the airline has also developed a flight plan with famous domestic destinations and tourist attractions such as: Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Phu Quoc... At the same time, it continues to expand its international charter flight network to Thailand, Taiwan, China, Korea and Japan through a flight plan in conjunction with Vietravel Tourism Company, promising to bring business results beyond expectations.
In January 2021, Vietravel Airlines made its first commercial flight as the first tourism airline in Vietnam. To date, after 3 years of taking off, Vietravel Airlines has successfully provided about 3 million seats in the market and 100% of flights have been carried out in absolute safety. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky's airline also became the official airline of the 31st Southeast Asian Games - the Golden Wing carrying the dream of the 31st SEA Games gold.
