For the first time, Ho Chi Minh City organized fireworks displays to celebrate Lunar New Year at 15 locations.

(NLDO)- Ho Chi Minh City will organize fireworks displays at 15 locations on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, including 2 high-altitude locations and 13 low-altitude locations throughout the city.


The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a document agreeing with the proposal of the City Command and the Department of Culture and Sports on organizing fireworks displays for the Lunar New Year 2025.

Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City will organize fireworks displays at 15 locations on the occasion of Lunar New Year, including 2 high-altitude locations and 13 low-altitude locations located throughout the city. The fireworks will be displayed for 15 minutes, from 0:00 to 0:15 on January 29 (January 1, At Ty year), funded by socialized sources.

Ho Chi Minh City organizes fireworks displays at 15 locations on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, including 2 high-altitude locations and 13 low-altitude locations.

Of which, 2 high-altitude fireworks displays will be held at the Saigon River Tunnel (Thu Duc City) and Ben Duoc Martyrs Memorial Area (Cu Chi District).

13 low-altitude shooting locations include: Thao Dien urban area, Thu Duc city; Rach Dia bridge area, Nha Be district; Saigon river area, near Rach Chiec bridge, Thu Duc city (shooting on barge); Dam Sen cultural park, district 11; Ben Noc memorial temple, Thu Duc city.

In addition, there are the following locations: Memorial area of the 1968 Tet Offensive and Uprising, Binh Chanh district; Tay Bac Industrial Park, Cu Chi district; Rung Sac Martyrs Memorial Temple, Can Gio district; District 7 Administrative Center Square; 38-hectare Residential Park, Tan Thoi Nhat Ward, District 12; Hoa Binh Square, Go Vap district; Nga Ba Giong Martyrs Memorial Area, Hoc Mon district; Binh Dien Market area, District 8.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture and Sports to preside over and coordinate with the City Command to draft a document directing the organization of fireworks displays on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, to be submitted before January 15, 2025.

In addition to fireworks, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, Ho Chi Minh City will also organize a 3D light show on the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee building on the evening of January 28.

In parallel, there are also activities to welcome the Year of the Snake at the center such as: Exhibition "Celebrating the Year of the Snake - Celebrating the glorious Party" from January 25 to February 9 at Lam Son Park and Pasteur - Ly Tu Trong Street.
