The organizers announced that Pho Day is expected to serve more than 20,000 bowls of pho at a price of 40,000 VND each over the two days of the event, and is anticipated to attract around 100,000 visitors.
BTC will donate at least 10% of the revenue from pho sales during the event to support people in Dak Lak province (formerly Phu Yen) who suffered significant damage from the recent storms and floods. The event will also include a series of activities in celebration of Pho Day on December 12th.

This is the 9th Pho Day, held to celebrate and promote Vietnamese culinary art to the general public and tourists. The biggest goal of the event is to have Pho recognized as a world intangible cultural heritage, through stories about the rice used to make pho noodles, which carry unique cultural, culinary, diplomatic , and economic values.
According to the organizers, Pho Day has not only become a major national festival but has also reached international prominence under the name "Vietnam Pho Festival," having been successively held in Japan, South Korea, and most recently Singapore since 2023.
In particular, the "Vietnam Pho Festival" held in Singapore last October attracted over 35,000 visitors with many attractive culinary and cultural activities.
The event also saw over 400 business contacts and exchanges between the two countries, opening up prospects for deeper connections in cooperation and development.
