Recently, the runner-up was awarded the title of Hai Phong Tourism Ambassador at the opening ceremony of the 2026 Red Phoenix Flower Festival. For Van Nhi, this honor is an opportunity to spread the beauty of her hometown's culture and people through a youthful and approachable perspective.
From a student at Phenikaa University, Nguyen Thi Van Nhi became the 2nd Runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2024 and received the love of a large audience. The beauty queen, born in 2005, has shown maturity in her thinking and actions.
Runner-up Van Nhi shared that her life has changed a lot after the competition, but the most important thing is learning to adapt and take advantage of new opportunities to contribute to the community. During her term, she always aimed to balance her studies, personal development, and participation in social activities.
Besides studying and improving her knowledge, runner-up Van Nhi actively participates in community activities and socially meaningful programs, such as giving gifts to people in difficult circumstances in mountainous areas, and activities promoting environmental protection.
One of the milestones that the runner-up is most proud of since the competition was participating in the parade at the military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd (A80). “During this honorable mission, I was immersed in the atmosphere of national pride and witnessed the spirit of unity and patriotism of the Vietnamese people. It was an incredibly meaningful experience for me,” the runner-up expressed.
For runner-up Van Nhi, such activities help her better understand the responsibilities of a young person.
Recently, runner-up Nguyen Thi Van Nhi took on another new role - Tourism Ambassador of Hai Phong . As a daughter born and raised in the port city, Van Nhi said she feels extremely grateful for the trust her hometown has placed in her.
“With the new role that Hai Phong city has given me, the first thing I think about is how I can promote and introduce the beauty of my hometown to friends at home and abroad, from the perspective of a young person. At the same time, I realize that I need to continue learning and exploring more deeply the culture, cuisine , and unique values of my hometown,” said runner-up Van Nhi.
According to the runner-up, Hai Phong today possesses many unique attractions, from its landscapes and cuisine to its people. The beauty queen hopes to showcase the city's image not only through beach tourism but also through the dynamism, youthfulness, and free-spirited nature of its people.
The second runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2024 hopes that, through her role as the Tourism Ambassador of Hai Phong, she can contribute to promoting the image of her hometown to domestic and international tourists in a more approachable and youthful way.
On the eve of the Miss Vietnam 2026 competition, Van Nhi also had many emotions as she looked back on her journey. The runner-up believes that the competition has helped her mature, learn many things, and opened up more opportunities to spread positive values.
"I feel very excited and look forward to seeing new faces, new stories, and young people with a desire to contribute at the upcoming Miss Vietnam 2026 pageant," the runner-up expressed.
In particular, when Hai Phong was chosen as the location to host many important activities of Miss Vietnam 2026, runner-up Van Nhi shared her joy and pride and said she is always ready to accompany and support the contestants, especially with knowledge about the culture, people, and experience from the previous competition.
After a year of meaningful activities in her reign, the second runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2024, Nguyen Thi Van Nhi, believes that each journey is an opportunity to improve herself and spread positive values to the community with the enthusiasm of youth.
