As an officer in charge of the Vinh Thanh Commune Radio Station (Nhon Trach District), Mr. Vo Thanh Tra not only performs his professional duties well but also actively participates in social and humanitarian activities in the locality. Typically, he founded and took on the role of chairman of the Vinh Thanh Commune Chess Club with 33 members.

Since its establishment in September 2022, the Club has maintained regular activities to create a healthy and useful playground for people who love this sport in the area; at the same time, it has actively participated in tournaments organized by higher levels and won many high prizes.

Having participated in voluntary blood donation 6 times, understanding the meaning of this activity to the community, Mr. Tra also actively encouraged the members of the Club to participate. Thanks to skillful mobilization, many Club members have become familiar names in the blood donation movement in and outside the locality. Mr. Tra is also the active and enthusiastic Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell of Dai Thang Hamlet, loved by the people.

Tra’s example is one of the stories told during a flag-raising ceremony on Monday morning in Vinh Thanh commune. In this locality, this is considered one of the ways to spread the example of good people and good deeds, promoting learning and following Uncle Ho.

Secretary of the Vinh Thanh Commune Party Committee Tran Hoang Su said that the flag-raising ceremonies every Monday morning at the headquarters of the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee of the commune are broadcast live on the Commune Radio Station every week for all cadres, party members and people to listen and follow. After the flag-raising ceremony, the Commune Party Committee also included stories about studying and following Uncle Ho, about typical good people, good deeds... Thereby, each cadre, party member, civil servant and public employee looks back at themselves, overcomes shortcomings and proposes tasks and solutions to perform better in the coming time.

According to Nhon Trach District Party Committee, in recent times, the locality has paid great attention to promoting and replicating typical examples of good people and good deeds. The district has directed to increase the duration and quality of propaganda columns on Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style, commending good people, good deeds, and good experiences... on the district's Electronic Information Page and Radio Station. Through promoting propaganda, more and more good practices and effective models have appeared, typical examples of good people, good deeds, and exemplary examples of following Uncle Ho's teachings have been commended.
