The organizers presented gifts to women members in difficult circumstances at the launching ceremony.

Attending the event were representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors who are members of the Committee for the Advancement of Women; leaders of People's Committees of communes and wards, along with a large number of women's union members, youth union members and students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan, member of the City Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, President of the City Women's Union, Deputy Head of the City Committee for the Advancement of Women, affirmed that gender equality is a fundamental value of a civilized society. In recent years, Hue City has maintained many models to support women, promote start-ups, enhance the role of women in the family and community; at the same time, effectively implemented the Program on prevention and response to gender-based violence for the period 2021-2025.

In the context of digital transformation, harassment and gender-based violence in cyberspace tend to increase, requiring the drastic participation of the whole society. This year's theme emphasizes the need to equip women and girls with safe digital skills, respect privacy rights and build a healthy online environment. The city calls on agencies, organizations and people to spread the message "Online safety for women and girls is the responsibility of each of us."

The 2025 Action Month takes place from November 15 to December 15, with a series of direct and online communication activities; hanging banners and slogans on main roads; increasing the broadcasting time at grassroots radio stations; organizing seminars, training sessions, and dramatizations; honoring typical examples; communicating on the Hue-S platform and social networks. Communes and wards base their response plans on the actual situation; promoting gender equality propaganda; visiting and supporting vulnerable women and children...

The launching ceremony creates a widespread awareness of the responsibility of the whole society in protecting women and girls, contributing to building Hue city "culture - safety - equality - humanity" in the digital age.

On this occasion, the organizing committee awarded 10 gifts to 10 people in difficult circumstances in Phu Bai ward, each worth 1 million VND, contributing to encourage and timely support for disadvantaged cases.
