Practical projects
In mid-May, the Women's Union of Dien Lac commune launched a project to create a green, clean, and beautiful flower-lined road in Lac Loi village, planting 39 purple crape myrtle and cassia trees. Simultaneously, they cleaned, collected, and disposed of waste, creating a clean and beautiful landscape for the flower-lined road and surrounding area. After the project was completed, the Women's Union branch in Lac Loi village continued to take responsibility for maintaining the flower-lined road. Ms. Do Thi Kim Anh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Lac commune and Chairwoman of the Dien Lac Women's Union, said that after the floods in November 2025, the flower-lined road in Lac Loi village was completely damaged. Therefore, the Union implemented the project to restore the environmental landscape, create a green, clean, and beautiful appearance for the locality, and raise environmental awareness among officials, members, and residents.

Not only in Dien Lac commune, but many women's associations throughout the province are also actively implementing projects and models that contribute to building rural and urban landscapes. Among them, the Women's Union of Dien Tho commune implemented a flower-lined road model in Pho Thien village, approximately 2km long. Along the road, members jointly planted and cared for over 300 yellow cassia trees, creating a highlight for the rural landscape. Meanwhile, the Women's Union of Phuoc Huu commune implemented a bright, green, clean, and beautiful road project in Hoai Ni village. They installed 10 streetlights along a 300m stretch and planted 15 bougainvillea trees and 7 yellow cassia trees to beautify the road. The Women's Union of Ninh Chu ward, in coordination with the Dong Hai Border Guard Post, organized an environmental cleanup and waste collection at Ninh Chu beach with the participation of 40 female cadres, members, and soldiers.

Caring for women and children
Women's associations at all levels have also intensified their efforts to care for and support women and children in difficult circumstances. Specifically, the Women's Union branches in Suoi Dau, Tay Ninh Hoa, and Tay Khanh Son communes each donated two livelihood support packages (ranging from 500,000 VND to 3 million VND per package) to disadvantaged women members, helping them develop their family economies . As one of the members receiving livelihood support, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhi (Tan Xuong 2 hamlet, Suoi Dau commune) said that her family is near-poor, with many children, including one with a disability. Every day, she works as a hired laborer to make a living, while her husband stays home to care for their sick child. “I am very happy to receive the chicken breeds from the association. I will try my best to take good care of the flock, breed them, and develop livestock farming to earn more income for my family,” Ms. Nhi said.
