Spreading the tradition of the Information Officer School

Party Cell of Company 3, Party Committee of Battalion 14 (Information Officer School) held a ceremony to admit new party members.

Agencies, departments and units in the school organized activities such as: Watching traditional movies; launching a scientific research club; organizing a festival of revolutionary songs and launching an English club; exchanging and competing in chess; exchanging in basketball and volleyball; playing folk games... Along with that, to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Information Officer School, the Party cells in the School Party Committee organized a Party admission ceremony for 65 outstanding people.

73 years ago, in the fierce circumstances of the resistance war against the French colonialists, facing the task of building a communications force military and the task of training information officers and staff for the entire army, on November 11, 1951, at Pieng village, Dinh Hoa district, province Thai Nguyen, The Minister of National Defense signed Decision No. 132/QD, establishing the Information School on the basis of merging the Inter-Zone 3 Information School with training classes for information officers and staff of the Department of Information and Communications.

The 30th Battalion Youth Union organized a festival of revolutionary songs and launched an English club.

After 73 years of construction, fighting, development and growth, nearly 60.000 graduates of the Information Officer School have spread to all parts of the country, contributing their efforts and intelligence to the cause of national liberation struggle, building and firmly defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam, contributing to further embellishing the precious tradition: "Proactive, creative; united, disciplined; overcoming difficulties to rise up; mastering techniques; teaching well, studying well".

With outstanding contributions in combat, combat service and great contributions in career education, training, the School was honored to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces in the renewal period by the Party and State, and the Medal Ho Chi Minh and many other noble rewards.

The activities to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Information Officer School not only spread the glorious tradition of the School but also have the meaning of encouraging, arousing pride and determination to fulfill well the assigned duties and tasks of each cadre, lecturer, student, staff and soldier of the Information Officer School./.
