Lang Son: Ready for the dazzling 2026 Peach Blossom Festival.

(CLO) The meticulous preparations from the provincial government not only promise a spectacular opening night but also affirm that Lang Son's peach blossoms will become a "golden brand" to boost tourism and create momentum for economic growth for local people and businesses.

On the evening of February 6th, at the stage on Hung Vuong Street ( Lang Son City), the Organizing Committee of the Lang Son Peach Blossom Festival and activities celebrating the Party and the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 held a dress rehearsal for the opening ceremony. Mr. Doan Thanh Son, Vice Chairman of the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee, personally attended and directed the rehearsal.

With the theme "The Beauty of Peach Blossoms in Lang Son - Connecting All Directions," the program is structured into three parts: The Vitality of Peach Blossoms, honoring the natural beauty and vibrant life of this symbolic flower; Lang Son's Enduring Love for All Directions, showcasing hospitality, cultural exchange, and a welcoming embrace to international friends; and Springtime Offering to the Party, affirming faith and gratitude for the Party's leadership in the process of reform.

The participation of renowned artists such as Meritorious Artist Thiet Ploong, Trong Tan, Quan AP, Minh Hang, Duong Hoang Yen... promises to create a vibrant musical space that both preserves traditional elements and embraces modern influences.

Immediately after the dress rehearsal, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Doan Thanh Son chaired a frank and decisive debriefing meeting. He emphasized: "Every frame and illustrative image must showcase the most beautiful and distinctive aspects of the land and people of Lang Son. The narration must be smooth and expressive, and especially the costumes must be accurate to highlight the unique cultural characteristics of the ethnic groups of Lang Son."

The opening ceremony will officially take place at 8 PM on February 7, 2026 (corresponding to the 20th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Snake) at the stage on Hung Vuong Street, Luong Van Tri Ward, Lang Son City. It will be broadcast live on Lang Son Radio and Television, and rebroadcast on many local stations nationwide.
