Ba Dinh ward leaders dialogue with people

HNP - On November 14, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee of Ba Dinh Ward organized a conference to meet and have direct dialogue between the heads of Party committees and authorities with the Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations and the People; between the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee and young people.

At the Conference, the Fatherland Front Committee and socio- political organizations of the ward proposed solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of propaganda work, thoroughly grasp the resolutions of party congresses at all levels, helping party members truly absorb and put the resolutions into practice; solutions to encourage and attract young party members and young cadres to participate in grassroots work; specific orientations and solutions to replicate and sustainably maintain skillful mass mobilization models associated with the implementation of political tasks and socio-economic development in residential groups...

In addition, delegates also raised issues related to people's livelihoods and solutions to improve the effectiveness of fire prevention, fire fighting, environmental sanitation, and handling of flooding in the ward.

Youth delegates from Ba Dinh ward also raised the issue of preventing crimes of fraud and property appropriation in cyberspace; calling for the cooperation of technology, telecommunications and creative start-up enterprises to participate in the digital transformation process at the grassroots level.

Responding to comments and recommendations, Chairwoman of Ba Dinh Ward People's Committee Pham Thi Diem said that Ba Dinh Ward People's Committee continues to maintain the goal of "prevention is the main thing, ready to respond effectively when situations arise", striving to build a safe area in terms of fire prevention and fighting, contributing to ensuring security, order and safety of people's lives.

The Ward People's Committee also reviewed, identified and monitored 5 points at high risk of flooding in the area; coordinated with functional units of the city to renovate and upgrade manholes, intake gates, lower sidewalks, and expand drainage in locations prone to flooding.

The Chairman of Ba Dinh Ward People's Committee said that the ward focuses on building the program "Enterprises accompany smart wards", encouraging businesses to support equipment, network infrastructure, and promote brands associated with social responsibility.

At the same time, the ward has a mechanism to recognize and commend pioneering enterprises in joining hands to build digital infrastructure, contributing to creating a civilized and convenient living environment, promoting the image of Ba Dinh to become a green, smart, connected and sustainably developed ward.

Concluding the Conference, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Ba Dinh Ward Pham Quang Thanh acknowledged and accepted the opinions and suggestions of the delegates. The Party Secretary of the ward requested departments, branches, organizations, agencies and units to uphold their sense of responsibility, listen to the opinions of the people, and proactively and effectively implement tasks according to the functions of their units.

“The leaders of the ward People's Committee and specialized agencies need to seriously implement the opinions and recommendations agreed upon and committed during the dialogue session, ensuring timely and effective resolution of the people's legitimate recommendations. We request the People's Committee, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to increase direct thematic dialogue activities with cadres, members and people to promptly have specific solutions right from the grassroots level,” said comrade Pham Quang Thanh.
