La Gi ward leaders visit and encourage fishermen in distress at sea

On the morning of November 12, comrade Tran The Hung, Vice Chairman of La Gi Ward People's Committee, and local leaders visited, encouraged and presented gifts to fisherman Nguyen Van Linh (residing at TDP 7 Binh Tan, La Gi Ward), owner of fishing boat BTh-80088-TS who unfortunately had an accident in La Gi waters.

Mr. Tran The Hung, Vice Chairman of La Gi Ward People's Committee visited and gave gifts to the family of fisherman Nguyen Van Linh in the boat sinking incident.

Previously, at around 9:30 a.m. on November 11, while moving into La Gi estuary, fishing boat BTh-80088-TS (22 horsepower, 7.9 meters long, trawling, with 2 workers) was completely sunk by large waves. Fortunately, the crew members were promptly assisted by rescue forces and nearby fishermen to bring them safely to shore.

During the visit, the ward leaders shared the difficulties and losses of the fishermen's families, and encouraged the families to overcome the incident, stabilize their lives soon, continue to go out to sea, and contribute to protecting sovereignty and developing the local marine economy.

Fishermen help rescue Mr. Huynh Ngoc Ha's property

Also on the morning of November 12, fishermen joined hands to support Mr. Huynh Ngoc Ha (born in 1980, residing in Phuoc Tho quarter, Phuoc Hoi ward) - owner and captain of boat number BTh-85974-TS to salvage fishing gear after the incident at sea.

Fortunately the net was found.

At present, the rescue team and fishermen have salvaged the net - an important asset serving the livelihood of fishermen working at sea. The salvage work of the boat BTh-85974-TS is still being coordinated by the authorities.
