During the resistance war against the US to save the country, from 1966 to 1972, the US air force focused on attacking Xuan Son ferry fiercely. At this key point, cadres, soldiers, youth volunteers (TNXP), frontline workers, and local people heroically and steadfastly held their ground, maintained the traffic arteries, promptly provided human and material support to the southern battlefield, contributing to the cause of liberating the South and unifying the country.
