Comrade Phan Van Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province spoke at the visit and working session with Thanh Ngoc Agricultural Products and Foodstuff Company Limited.
Attending the meeting were representatives of provincial departments, local leaders and some typical pineapple farming households in Tan Phuoc 1 commune (belonging to the large pineapple growing area of the old Tien Giang province, now belonging to the new Dong Thap province after the merger).

At the meeting, comrade Phan Van Thang said that after the merger of Tien Giang and Dong Thap provinces, the provincial leaders conducted a field survey and listened to the difficulties of pineapple farmers in two communes: Tan Phuoc 1 and Tan Phuoc 2, especially the situation of degenerated pineapple varieties, unstable output and lack of accompanying businesses. From that reality, the provincial leaders proactively connected with suitable businesses to create a sustainable linkage chain.

Modern processing stages such as freeze-drying, freeze-drying, and freezing are applied to increase product value and meet the strict standards of international markets such as the US, Japan, and Korea.
Currently, businesses are in need of connecting and purchasing raw pineapple for export processing purposes.
