Ho Chi Minh City leaders visit and extend New Year greetings to hospitals, and present gifts to child patients.

On the afternoon of February 14th, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse), a delegation of Ho Chi Minh City leaders, led by Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, visited and extended New Year greetings to the medical staff of the Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital and the Ho Chi Minh City Blood Transfusion and Hematology Hospital.

At the Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Phuoc Loc conveyed New Year greetings from the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to the entire staff and medical personnel of the Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital.

The Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee wished the hospital's medical staff and employees good health in the new year; and expressed confidence and hope that the hospital will continue to strive for comprehensive and strong development, worthy of being the leading specialized hospital in the country for cancer treatment.

The Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee extended New Year greetings to the medical staff of the Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc highly appreciated the quality of treatment and patient care activities at the Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital. He commended the hospital's medical staff for using their knowledge to help alleviate the suffering of patients.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc wished all medical staff and employees of the hospital abundant health, both physically and mentally, to overcome all difficulties and pressures in their work; and to build warm and happy families.

Next, Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc and the members of the delegation went to each hospital bed to wish the child patients a Happy New Year and give them gifts; at the same time, they encouraged the families and the children to always maintain an optimistic spirit and actively participate in treatment so that they can recover quickly.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City leadership delegation and medical staff of the Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital offered incense and observed a moment of silence to commemorate the victims who died from Covid-19 at the Covid-19 Memorial Area within the hospital grounds.

Here, the Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Nguyen Phuoc Loc, acknowledged and highly appreciated the expertise and efforts of the hospital in treating patients; and at the same time extended New Year greetings to the medical staff.

The comrade wished the hospital's medical staff and employees a new year filled with good health, family happiness, and continued success in diagnosing and treating patients.

The Ho Chi Minh City leadership delegation took a commemorative photo with the staff and medical personnel of the Ho Chi Minh City Blood Transfusion and Hematology Hospital.

Also at the Ho Chi Minh City Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital, the city's leadership delegation visited, extended New Year greetings, and presented gifts to each child patient. Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc wished the children a speedy recovery so they could soon return home and go to school with their friends.

The young patient smiled happily upon receiving gifts from city leaders.

Deeply moved by the concern shown by the city leaders, Ms. Dao Thi Nhien (from Lam Dong province), whose child is receiving treatment at the Ho Chi Minh City Blood Transfusion and Hematology Hospital, expressed her gratitude to the city leaders.
