Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee visit and extend New Year greetings to Bidiphar.

(gialai.gov.vn) - On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse), on the afternoon of February 11th, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich visited, extended New Year greetings, and held a working session at Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company (Bidiphar). At the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed the province's commitment to supporting the enterprise in proposing solutions to legal obstacles to promote the medicinal plant economy.

Despite facing numerous market fluctuations, the company maintained its growth momentum with a 7% increase in revenue, and notably, an impressive 31% increase in tax contributions. As a Heroic Labor Unit during the đổi mới (renovation) period and one of the Top 4 most reputable pharmaceutical companies in Vietnam, Bidiphar continues to affirm its pivotal role in the healthcare industry and its commitment to innovation.

At the meeting, People's Physician Pham Thi Thanh Huong – General Director of Bidiphar – reported on the highlights for 2025: The company not only maintained its business efficiency but also ranked among the Top 50 best listed companies and Top 10 innovative enterprises. However, the General Director of Bidiphar also frankly shared about the current "bottleneck": New regulations in Decree 46 are causing difficulties for the output of medicines processed from medicinal herbs, directly affecting the value chain and livelihoods of people in raw material growing areas.

At the same time, she hoped that in the new year of the Horse, Bidiphar would continue to leverage its strengths and effectively exploit the potential advantages of the western region of Gia Lai to form large-scale specialized medicinal plant cultivation areas, linked with deep processing to increase added value.
