In particular, immediately after the storm on the afternoon of July 19 and implementing the Prime Minister 's Official Dispatches 112 and 117, Official Dispatch No. 08 of the City People's Committee Chairman, the commune issued a document requesting agencies, units, and villages in the area to immediately carry out a number of specific tasks according to their assigned functions and tasks, proactively responding to storm No. 3.
Units have urgently reviewed and inspected to ensure the safety of power grid systems, trees, telecommunication optical cables, irrigation works, dykes, residential buildings (corrugated iron roofs, high-rise water tanks, etc.), headquarters of agencies, factories, and enterprises; inspected areas at high risk of storms such as the banks of the Tich River, Dong Mo Lake, makeshift and unsafe housing projects, etc. to have plans to evacuate people and property from dangerous areas.
Doai Phuong Commune has also prepared enough shock troops and necessary equipment such as boats, life jackets, life buoys, chainsaws... to be ready to respond when a situation occurs; stopping all fishing, tourism and transportation activities on Dong Mo Lake from 6:00 p.m. on July 21.
Propaganda work on natural disaster prevention and control has received special attention. The commune's Culture - Information and Sports Center has increased the duration and time of propaganda about the developments of storm No. 3 on the radio system, forums and commune electronic information page; announced the hotline number 02433836171 to promptly receive and process information from people in emergency situations.
