Specifically, after the livestream on January 17th, approximately 4,000 flower pots were ordered by traders, and more than 2,000 baskets of flowers were reserved for sale in the following days.
In addition to introducing products, Ms. Le Thi Hoang Oanh also directly interacts with customers alongside farmers during livestream sessions, assisting with order confirmations, advising on shipping, and ensuring the reliability of the supply chain. The presence of local leaders in online sales sessions has built trust among buyers, facilitating the smooth sale of flowers.

This activity is part of the "Vinh Long Agricultural Products Journey - Bringing Spring Home" program, implemented by the Vinh Long Provincial Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the People's Committee of Cho Lach Commune, Viettel Post Vinh Long, and TikTok Shop Vietnam, aiming to support farmers in selling their agricultural products amidst a volatile market.
According to the Party Secretary of Cho Lach commune, the locality has a tradition of growing Tet flowers on a scale of about 2.5 million products each year, of which chrysanthemum pots alone account for about 1.2 million baskets. This year, due to unseasonal rains and unusual weather patterns, about 30% of the chrysanthemum pots bloomed early, causing difficulties in sales and a high risk of losses.

According to local authorities, the fact that commune leaders directly went down to the fields to livestream the harvest is not only an immediate "rescue" measure, but also opens up a new direction in the consumption of Tet flowers, helping farmers gradually access digital sales platforms, reducing dependence on traders, and mitigating the "bumper harvest, low prices" situation in agricultural production.
