Lao Cai: In 10 months, the number of newly established enterprises increased by 25% over the same period.

In October 2025, Lao Cai province recorded positive signals from business activities when issuing new registration certificates to 126 enterprises and 110 affiliated units, an increase of 15.7% over the same period. Total registered capital reached over VND 1,301 billion. In the past 10 months, the number of newly established enterprises increased by 25% over the same period, demonstrating the attractiveness of investment in the locality.

Enterprises in Lao Cai maintain production, contributing to promoting the local economy .

Notably, the number of dissolved enterprises in the month increased by 25% compared to the same period, but the number of enterprises resuming operations also increased by 25%, showing that a part of enterprises are adapting and restoring operations after difficulties.

The number of businesses temporarily suspending operations decreased by 3.5%, reflecting efforts to maintain operations in a challenging economic context.

Since the beginning of the year, Lao Cai has granted new registration certificates to 1,046 enterprises and 644 affiliated units, an increase of 25% over the same period, with a total registered capital of over VND8,875 billion.

The growth of new businesses and the recovery of existing businesses are positive signs, contributing to boosting the local economy and opening up many job opportunities for people.
