
The construction of 6 schools in Pha Long, Trinh Tuong and Y Ty communes is an activity of profound political and social significance, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and sharing of officers and soldiers of Lao Cai Provincial Border Guard in particular and the Border Guard Command in general towards people and students in border areas; contributing to the implementation of the Party, State and army's policies on education, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, and socio-economic development in ethnic minority, mountainous and border areas.

Construction of 6 schools started, including: Khu Chu Lin School, A Lu Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Y Ty Commune; Cung Lung School, Ta Gia Khau Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Pha Long Commune; Xa Khai Tung Kindergarten, Su Ma Tung Ta Ngai Cho Kindergarten, Pha Long Commune; Sin Chai Kindergarten, Pha Long Kindergarten, Pha Long Commune; Seo Phin Than Kindergarten, Coc My Kindergarten, Trinh Tuong Commune.
Total value of the projects is more than 13.7 billion VND; construction time from November 2025 to the end of May 2026.


Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Vu Quoc An, Deputy Political Commissar of the Border Guard, emphasized: The construction, repair and equipment of facilities for schools are concrete and practical tasks, carrying profound humanitarian meaning, demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love" and "helping each other" of the whole country towards the Fatherland's border.

Building new schools and improving facilities and educational equipment will create a better and safer teaching and learning environment, ensuring living and learning conditions for students.
The Border Guard Command requested the Lao Cai Provincial Border Guard Command to preside over the construction implementation, closely supervise the construction, ensure safety, progress and quality of the project; prevent waste and loss; promptly report to the Border Guard Command any arising difficulties for direction and resolution.
Comrade Giang Thi Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province acknowledged the efforts and participation of functional agencies, local authorities, and the education sector of the province in implementing the construction of schools in border areas.

He affirmed: The schools built are not only educational works, but also works of faith and national solidarity, demonstrating the steadfast will of a strong border and a prosperous people.
The spacious schools that are built will be a home of knowledge, a place to help the dreams of children of ethnic minorities in the highlands take flight; an environment to nurture young generations with knowledge, courage, aspiration and patriotism, contributing to building an increasingly rich and strong homeland.
