At the conference, Major General Cao Minh Huyen, Director of Lao Cai Provincial Police, affirmed that in the 2020-2025 period, Lao Cai Provincial Police has made efforts, promoted tradition, solidarity, innovation, bravery, intelligence, overcome all difficulties and challenges, achieved many feats and outstanding achievements, firmly protected national security, ensured social order and safety, and made an important contribution to the cause of local economic and social development.
In the past time, Lao Cai Provincial Police (based on the merger of Lao Cai Provincial Police and Yen Bai Provincial Police) has always achieved the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Public Security or higher. In 2024, the Prime Minister awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag and the Standing Committee of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee classified it as "Party Committee that excellently completed its tasks".
On July 1, 2024, the President signed a decision to award the Second-class Fatherland Protection Medal to the Lao Cai Provincial Police (before the merger), the Third-class Fatherland Protection Medal to the Yen Bai Provincial Police, for outstanding achievements in rescue work, overcoming the consequences of storm Yagi; along with thousands of typical advanced collectives and individuals being commended and rewarded by all levels and sectors.
At the conference, 3 collectives were honored to receive the Government's Emulation Flag; 2 individuals were awarded the title of Emulation Fighter of the entire force; 134 typical collectives and individuals were recognized by the Provincial Police Director as typical examples in the emulation movement "For National Security" of Lao Cai Provincial Police, period 2020-2025.
In the coming time, Lao Cai Provincial Police will continue to thoroughly grasp, advise on the timely and effective deployment and implementation of policies on emulation and commendation work; thoroughly grasp and strictly implement resolutions and directives of the Party, State, and Central Public Security Party Committee on the tasks of Public Security work in the new situation; compete to firmly protect national security.
