Previously, at around 10 p.m. on November 11, a rock about 1.5 meters long, 1 meter high, 1.5 meters wide, weighing several tons suddenly rolled down the cliff onto the West branch of Ho Chi Minh road, passing through Hong Son village (Truong Son commune).
At the time of the incident, there were no people or vehicles passing through the area, so fortunately there were no casualties. At the scene, this large rock was blocking part of Ho Chi Minh Road, forcing vehicles to move slowly and be extremely careful when passing through this section.

Upon receiving the news, the Truong Son Road Management Department (Joint Stock Company 483) was present at the scene, set up warning ropes, guided people to travel safely and coordinated with local authorities to come up with a plan to move the rock.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Head of Truong Son Road Management Department (Joint Stock Company 483), the unit managing the West branch of Ho Chi Minh Highway, said that the rock is very large in size and weight, currently blocking part of the road, making it difficult for vehicles to move. The unit is mobilizing machinery and vehicles to handle it, and is considering the option of chiseling the rock to be able to move it.
