Regarding the result, FAT believes that U22 Thailand deserved to enter the final with their positive playing style, the players can develop further in the future even though they only won the silver medal. The result may not be as expected by the coach and players, however, football is a fiercely competitive sport . The winner has a happy ending, while the losing team must learn from experience and stand up soon.
In addition, FAT would like to express its disappointment and apologize for the chaos that occurred during the match. That ugly image caused great damage to Thai football .”

FAT affirmed: “ The coaching team must bear the highest responsibility. They are considered the ones who must maintain a good image, representing the country. They must be aware of that at every moment, keeping calm under the high pressure of the match.
We will set up an investigation committee to find out the truth about this incident. There will be severe punishment, no cover-up for those who caused this damage. This process will begin as soon as the team returns home. We sincerely apologize and are willing to listen to contributions so that similar incidents will not happen again .

In the final match of the men's football event of the 32nd SEA Games on May 16 between U22 Thailand and U22 Indonesia, the players and coaching staff of the two teams clashed at the end of the match, creating an ugly and violent image on the field.
