To commemorate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, the 72nd anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, and in anticipation of the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth, the Dien Bien Provincial Department of Education and Training, in coordination with the People's Committee of Sin Thau Commune and the A Pa Chai Border Guard Post, organized a flag-raising ceremony at the A Pa Chai Flagpole.

The delegation was led by Ms. Hoang Tuyet Ban, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dien Bien province. The delegation included the Board of Directors of the Department, heads of professional departments, heads of units under the Department of Education and Training, and 10 students from the province who won high awards in national-level competitions.

In a solemn atmosphere at the westernmost point of the country, delegates, administrators, teachers, and students participated in the flag-raising ceremony at the A Pa Chai Flagpole. This activity has profound educational significance, contributing to fostering national pride, love for the homeland, and a sense of responsibility among each official, teacher, and student towards the nation.

Through this activity, the Dien Bien Department of Education and Training continues to spread the spirit of emulation and determination to successfully achieve the goals and targets for the development of education and training in the province according to the Resolution of the 15th Dien Bien Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, and the 5-year socio-economic development plan for the period 2026-2030 of the Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee.

As part of the program, the delegation from the Dien Bien Provincial Department of Education and Training visited and encouraged several educational institutions in Na Sang and Si Pa Phin communes. At the schools, the delegation inquired about the teaching and learning situation, the lives of administrators, teachers, and students; and acknowledged the efforts of the schools in overcoming difficulties in education in the mountainous, border areas.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Na Sang Kindergarten No. 2, Na Sang Ethnic Boarding Primary School No. 1, and Si Pa Phin Primary and Secondary Boarding School. The gifts and words of encouragement from the delegation helped to further motivate teachers and students at these schools to continue their efforts in teaching, caring for, and nurturing students in disadvantaged areas.

Also as part of the program, the delegation visited and interacted with officers and soldiers of the A Pa Chai Border Guard Station; they offered words of encouragement and expressed gratitude for the contributions of the border guard force in the cause of protecting national border sovereignty.
This activity demonstrates the close cooperation between the Education sector and the Border Guard force in caring for students in border areas, while also contributing to fostering love for the homeland, national pride, and responsibility for the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland in each official, teacher, and student.
