In a recent press conference providing periodic socio -economic information of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Le Van Su and Mr. Huynh Chi Nguyen, both Vice Chairmen of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, introduced the program "Hello Ca Mau" taking place in Ho Chi Minh City. In particular, the Ca Mau crab culinary festival held for the first time at the Youth Cultural House (No. 4 Pham Ngoc Thach, Saigon Ward) promises to attract a large number of tourists.
Accordingly, the Ca Mau crab culinary festival takes place from 9am to 10pm from November 18 to 22, with 100 booths.

The festival consists of 4 main spaces. The first is the exhibition area of models, images, and unique symbols of Ca Mau. Next is the area displaying and introducing regional specialties, connecting trade with products processed from crab, dried shrimp, whiteleg shrimp, dried fish, rice, herbal tea, bird's nest, fish sauce, chili salt...
The most anticipated area is the place where Ca Mau’s unique cuisine is prepared and introduced. Here, famous artisans and chefs from Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City will perform and introduce delicious dishes made from Ca Mau crab and river seafood.
In particular, this area organizes for guests to experience and learn how to prepare Ca Mau specialties.

Ca Mau crab is known as the "king of crabs" thanks to its firm, sweet and characteristically aromatic meat.

Finally, there is a cultural and artistic exchange stage area with typical programs of Ca Mau such as: amateur music, folk songs of the river delta, costume shows, stories about the sea and crab professions, folk and modern music.
Visitors can also see an introduction to fashion, traditional arts, folk games and experiences; and interact with artisans and businesses about the journey of building a brand and preserving the culinary identity of the southernmost region of the country.
In addition to the Ca Mau crab culinary festival, the program also includes a conference connecting investment cooperation for businesses from Ho Chi Minh City to Ca Mau province.
