This morning, April 19, the Steering Committee for Food Safety and Security of Ha Tinh province coordinated with the People's Committee of Hong Linh town to organize the launching ceremony of the "Month of action for food safety" in 2025 with the theme "Ensuring food safety, focusing on food safety in collective kitchens, catering services and street food".
Attending the event were comrade Duong Tat Thang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Duong Tat Thang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized the importance of ensuring food security and safety and clearly stated the food hygiene and safety situation in the province.
He suggested that provincial departments, branches, sectors, unions, and local authorities strengthen propaganda on food safety; proactively inspect and handle organizations and individuals who violate food safety regulations in production and business; prepare necessary conditions and promptly respond when food safety incidents occur. Food production and business establishments and collective kitchens across the province must strictly comply with legal regulations on the origin of raw materials, hygiene conditions of facilities, equipment, and people directly involved in food production and business. Strengthen the application of technology, prioritize the development of safe and sustainable green agriculture .

Absolutely do not use chemicals, antibiotics not listed, or banned substances in livestock and aquaculture. In particular, each citizen should be a smart consumer and actively detect and denounce food safety violations, join hands to act for public health, for a healthy and civilized society.
At the launching ceremony, representatives of departments, branches, localities and food production and trading units and enterprises spoke in response to the "Month of action for food safety" in 2025. During the month of action, interdisciplinary inspection teams will strengthen inspection of food safety management in localities, food production, trading and processing establishments in the area, and strictly punish violations.
