SEA Games 33 schedule of Vietnam Sports Delegation on December 9

VHO - Today, December 9, while the atmosphere of the 33rd Southeast Asian Games is turning towards the Opening Ceremony taking place at 7:00 p.m. (Vietnam time) at Rajamangala Stadium, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation still has an event to compete early: baseball.

Traditionally, the day of the Opening Ceremony is usually reserved for the delegations to stabilize their forces, review the organization and prepare for a solemn opening ceremony for the Games. However, at the 33rd SEA Games, the host country Thailand created a special highlight by still arranging competitions in a number of sports on December 9, thereby bringing a vibrant pace right from the first hours of the Games.

This morning, the Vietnam baseball team entered the qualifying round against the Philippines at 9:30. After the victory over Malaysia and the defeat against Laos, coach Park Hyo Chul and his team are determined to win all 3 points to improve their position, thereby nurturing the hope of advancing further in the tournament.

Also today, the cricket competition continues with 5 matches in both men's and women's categories, from 9:00 to 14:00. This is a competition for which the Vietnamese Sports Delegation did not register its forces.

Meanwhile, all preparations for the Opening Ceremony have been completed. The Vietnamese Sports Delegation with the participation of officials, coaches and elite athletes will be officially introduced at the ceremony tonight - a moment marking the beginning of the journey to conquer the goal at the 33rd SEA Games.
