Lien Binh Phat, the first Vietnamese actor nominated at the Kim Chung Film Awards

Actor Lien Binh Phat has become the first Vietnamese artist to be nominated at one of the most prestigious film awards in Taiwan (China) for his role in the film "The Outlaw Doctor".

The organizing committee of the Golden Bell Awards in Taiwan (China) has announced the list of nominations, in which Lien Binh Phat was nominated for the Best Leading Male category for his role as Dr. Pham in the series "The Outlaw Doctor".

The movie “The Outlaw Doctor” tells the journey of talented doctor Pham Van Ninh, a Vietnamese doctor in Taiwan (China), alongside Chinese female doctor Trinh Uyen Binh (played by famous actress Truong Quan Ninh).

The film was broadcast on K+ channel in March, with high viewership ratings.

The Golden Bell Awards is one of the three most prestigious awards in the Taiwanese (Chinese) entertainment industry, along with the Golden Melody Awards (for music ) and the Golden Horse Awards (for cinema). The awards, organized by the Taiwan Broadcasting and Television Industry Development Bureau (Chinese), not only honor the best works and individuals in the field of television and radio, but also contribute to promoting the creativity and development of this industry.

Lien Binh Phat is an actor who became well-known after the famous project "Song Lang" by director Leon Quang Le, revolving around the Cai Luong theater troupe in the context of many art forms gradually facing fierce competition and fading away.

He is considered a new and unique face of Vietnamese cinema. After “Song Lang”, he was invited to participate in a number of television and film projects such as “The Heiress”, “Butterfly House”, “Crazy Dark”, “Descendants of the Sun”, “No Way Out”…

Lien Binh Phat also participated in many entertainment and reality TV shows, the most prominent of which was "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai", where he showed another artistic side: his singing and dancing talent.

Currently, Lien Binh Phat is at the Toronto Film Festival (Canada) to promote the new film project "Quan Ky Nam" by director Leon Quang Le.
