According to the summary report, in 2025, the Federation successfully organized its Second Term Congress (2025–2030), gradually consolidating its organizational structure, perfecting its Charter, and issuing numerous management and operational documents in accordance with State regulations.

Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet, Director of the Vietnam Sports Department, presented the Certificate of Commendation from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the leaders of VMMAF.
The Federation's development work has been intensified with over 1,045 trainees; 99 new members have been admitted; support has been provided to clubs in organizing training, workshops, competitions, and signing cooperation agreements with each locality. In particular, the Federation organized training for over 95 police officers and soldiers in 2025.
In 2025, the Federation achieved many high-level professional accomplishments, including the successful organization of the Lion Championship 2025. In addition, Vietnamese MMA athletes achieved many high results in international competitions, including 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 2 bronze medals at the 33rd SEA Games. 2025 also marked an important step forward as MMA was officially included in the competition system of the National Sports Games and the SEA Games.
Regarding international cooperation and media, the Federation continues to maintain close relationships with the Asian Mixed Martial Arts Association (AMMA) and other international organizations, promoting live television broadcasts and multi-platform media coverage.

Following its success at the 33rd SEA Games, Vietnamese MMA continues to aim for ambitious goals in 2026.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ngo Duc Quynh, President of VMMAF, stated that 2025 will be a special year, facing challenges in resources and operational mechanisms, with increasingly high demands on management and organization of the sport. However, the Federation is committed to adhering to its principles and objectives, gradually strengthening the organization, expanding the movement, and improving professional quality.
The achievements of the Vietnamese Mixed Martial Arts Team are clear evidence of the correct direction and the continuous efforts of the Federation, coaches, and athletes. Thanks to this, the increasingly prominent position of Vietnamese Mixed Martial Arts in the regional arena is affirmed, Mr. Quynh further shared.
Acknowledging and appreciating the achievements of VMMAF in 2025, Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet, Director of the Vietnam Sports Department, offered suggestions for 2026, including restructuring the entire competition system, providing systematic training for coaches and athletes, and working with provinces, cities, and sectors to select athletes and coaches. In addition, he emphasized two key tasks for 2026: preparing for the Asian Games (ASIAD) and the 10th National Sports Games.
In implementing its tasks for 2026, VMMAF will focus on improving the operational efficiency of the Executive Board and its affiliated units, strengthening the Professional Board and the Sports Medicine and Science Board; while developing the membership system and perfecting management regulations. The Federation will prioritize developing training programs and curricula, strengthening the training of coaches and referees; organizing domestic tournaments, participating in regional and international competitions; and promoting publicity and international cooperation.
On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet, Director of the Vietnam Sports Department, presented a certificate of commendation from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the Vietnam Martial Arts Federation and its President, Ngo Duc Quynh.
Also at the Conference, VMMAF awarded certificates of merit to individuals and groups who achieved high performance in 2025, and to individuals who excelled in each category in 2025.
