The traditional feast of Dien Bien people is not only for enjoyment but also symbolizes togetherness, hospitality, and the aspiration for prosperity and peace. The 27 dishes represent the culmination of 27 typical flavors, reflecting the cultural diversity of the ethnic groups in Dien Bien province, thereby conveying the message: "Cuisine is not only a heritage but also a resource for developing tourism, the economy , and local identity."
Speaking at the festival, Mr. Tran Hai Ha, Acting Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province, said: The "27 Flavors of Dien Bien Cuisine" feast not only preserves traditional identity but is also presented in a modern aesthetic language, suitable for the experiential trends of domestic and international tourists. The event is organized to honor the value of traditional cuisine, combining preservation with innovation, linking cuisine with tourism, cuisine with culture, and using modern media to tell a story that attracts tourists to explore and experience.

The "27 Flavors of Dien Bien Cuisine" festival left a deep impression, becoming a significant cultural and tourism highlight, contributing to promoting the image of Dien Bien as a friendly, distinctive, and integrated destination to a wide audience of people and tourists both domestically and internationally.

This is the first time Dien Bien province has received culinary advice from the Vietnam Association of Culinary Training and Employment, directly collaborating in the development and decoration of a 27-dish banquet featuring typical Dien Bien province dishes. Simultaneously, the association has provided professional support to restaurants, hotels, and food service businesses in the area, creating an important step in standardizing, elevating, and promoting Dien Bien cuisine in a professional, systematic, and sustainable manner.
