Specifically, Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan - Deputy Head of the Subcommittee of Theory and Criticism of Literature and Arts of the Central Theory Council, President of the Vietnam Cinema Promotion and Development Association is the President of the Feature Film Jury.

People's Artist Nguyen Thuoc is the Chairman of the Jury for Documentary and Scientific Films; Associate Professor, Dr. Do Lenh Hung Tu - Chairman of the Vietnam Cinema Association is the Chairman of the Jury for Animation Films.
Previously, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued the Judging Regulations for the 24th Vietnam Film Festival, ensuring professionalism, transparency and fairness. According to the new regulations, the judging process is strictly organized, based on the principles of independence, impartiality, accuracy and promoting the artistic and creative qualities of the works.

The Jury will conduct the scoring according to each genre, including: feature films, documentaries, scientific films and animations. Each Jury has from 5 to 9 members who are prestigious film experts, artists, producers and researchers, representing many different perspectives in the life of Vietnamese cinema.
In addition, the judges must sign an independent commitment, not participating in or having any interests related to the submitted works. The scores of each judge are kept confidential until the final results are announced, to ensure absolute objectivity and fairness.
This year's award structure includes: Golden Lotus Award, Silver Lotus Award and Jury Award, along with individual categories such as Best Director, Best Screenwriter, Best Actor/Actress, Best Supporting Actor/Actress, Cinematography, Sound, Music , Design Artist, Film Editor...

The 24th Vietnam Film Festival will take place from November 21 to 25 in Ho Chi Minh City with the theme "Vietnamese Cinema - Sustainable Development and International Integration in the New Era". This year's event has special significance, marking the 55th anniversary of the Vietnam Film Festival (1970-2025).
The organizers shared that this is the festival with the largest number of participating films ever, showing the strong creativity of filmmakers and the growing interest of the public in Vietnamese cinema. A total of 202 films were submitted, including 30 feature films, 120 documentaries, 21 scientific films and 32 animated films.
After the review and evaluation process, the Film Selection Council has selected 87 official works to compete at the festival, including 16 feature films, 36 documentaries, 14 scientific films and 21 animated films. These films will compete in prestigious award categories and also be included in the Panorama Program of the 24th Vietnam Film Festival.
