CYSEEX Alliance Participates in an In-depth Seminar on Personal Data Protection Law

On the afternoon of November 28, at Bao Viet Group Headquarters, MISA representative - Mr. Nguyen Quang Hoang, Director of Information Security, together with the Information Security Department (ANTT) attended a specialized seminar under the VnDPO program with the topic of the Law on Personal Data Protection.

Notably, at the event, MISA invited expert Bach Trong Duc from Vietnam Data Security (VNDS) to directly share and guide procedures and documents related to Decree 13 and the Law on Personal Data Protection for all members of the CYSEEX Information Security Alliance (abbreviation of Cyber ​​Security Exercise).

Speaking at the sharing session, VNDS experts systematized and clarified the key concepts of the law on personal data protection, including: basic personal data, sensitive personal data, principles of data control and processing, legal grounds for processing, rights of data subjects and obligations of organizations in data collection, storage, sharing and transfer activities... In addition to basic knowledge, experts also provided practical instructions on completing related records, procedures and forms, focusing on typical problems that many organizations encounter when implementing compliance.

CYSEEX members actively discussed and asked questions about real-life situations in the process of applying Decree 13 and the Law on Personal Data Protection at their units. These contents were answered in detail by experts, contributing to "unlocking" many key issues, helping organizations shorten the time to complete documents and standardize compliance processes.

The seminar is considered a practical step to support CYSEEX Alliance members to correctly understand, correctly implement and effectively comply with regulations on personal data protection. With professional support from VNDS and the VnDPO program, the Alliance is gradually building a solid compliance foundation, thereby improving data security standards and contributing to creating a safe and reliable digital environment for businesses and users.
