At the Thang Long Boulevard service road through Hoai Duc district towards the suburbs, recently, during rush hour, traffic congestion and unsafety continue to occur.

A representative of the Hanoi Traffic Works Maintenance Board informed that the area under construction is digging the road to move the water supply pipeline under the construction permit for the Investment Project to build a different-level intersection between Ring Road 3.5 and Thang Long Boulevard.

People living in this Km 8 area said that for nearly a month now, the construction site has been working day and night, with mud on rainy days and dusty smoke on sunny days.

A representative of Hanoi Road Construction Investment Joint Stock Company (managing and maintaining traffic infrastructure in the western part of Hanoi) said that the investor of this project is the Hanoi City Civil Works Investment and Construction Project Management Board and the contractor is Viwaseen3 Joint Stock Company. After learning about the incident, the unit inspected the construction work of the project and requested the construction unit to sign a commitment to ensure traffic safety as well as road structure in the coming time.
