All 10 top keywords in the "Travel" category searched by internet users in Vietnam are domestic destinations.
Da Lat holds the top spot, followed by An Giang , Mui Ne, Da Nang, Ha Long, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Ca Mau, Phu Quoc, and Vung Tau.
This list is compiled based on the search trends of Vietnamese people over the past year.
Specifically for Da Lat, search volume peaked between January 26th and February 2nd - the Lunar New Year holiday in 2025.
The inclusion of a complete list of 10 domestic destinations demonstrates a trend toward prioritizing domestic tourism, while also reflecting the growth potential of Vietnam's tourism industry in the context of diversified products and continuously upgraded services.
An Giang has seen a significant increase in interest following the merger of its administrative boundaries in July 2025, ranking second in the top 10. According to the An Giang Department of Tourism, the province is expected to welcome approximately 24 million tourists in 2025, a 27.3% increase compared to the same period; total tourism revenue is estimated to reach 67,684 billion VND, an increase of over 91%.
Among the prominent destinations, Mui Ne – ranked 3rd in the top 10 – attracts visitors thanks to its advantages of blue sea, white sand, and golden sunshine, its fishing village culture, and a chain of beachfront resorts with competitive prices.
Da Nang ranked 4th, with a breakthrough in searches for the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 this summer.
In 2024, the top 10 most searched travel keywords on Google included: Malaysia, Vinh Hy, Hoi An, Con Son Island (Can Tho), Gia Lai, Europe, Da Lat, Thuy Chau Tourist Area, Da Nang, and Vietnam.
