Revealing a high-end project worth nearly 6,000 billion in Van Phong economic zone

TPO – The Co Ma New High-end Urban Area Project in Van Ninh District, Khanh Hoa Province was approved by the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board for investment policy with a land use area of over 235 hectares and a total investment capital of nearly 6,000 billion VND.

On August 1, the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board announced that it had just approved the investment policy of the Co Ma New High-end Urban Area project in Van Phuoc commune, Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province, in the form of bidding to select investors.

The project has a land use area of over 235 hectares and a total investment capital of nearly 6,000 billion VND. The project's objective is to invest in the construction of a complete and synchronous new urban area including technical infrastructure system; commercial housing, residential land (in the form of subdivision for sale); service works, resort tourism , tourist accommodation facilities, public works, services for residential units and urban areas. The project also uses local hot mineral water to develop tourism products to serve the needs of residents and tourists.

The new high-end urban area of Co Ma has a population of about 9,700 people, with low-rise houses (townhouses) expected to have about 171 units; low-rise houses (villas) expected to have about 150 units and a land fund for social housing development of about 0.88 hectares (meeting about 158 apartments). Regarding capital, the investor's contributed capital (equity) is at least 15% of the total investment of the project; mobilized capital is at most 85% of the total investment of the project.

Regarding this project, on July 16, the Party Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee submitted a document to the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on the investment policy of the Co Ma New High-class Urban Area project. According to the Party Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, the project proposes the goal of using hot mineral water in the area to serve the needs of people and tourists, bringing revenue to the locality and complying with the provisions of the law on minerals and other relevant regulations. Regarding this content, the province is seeking opinions from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

Currently, the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee has agreed on the investment policy of the Co Ma New High-class Urban Area project according to the report of the Party Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee. The Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee also noted to review and complete all data related to the project and to carry out well the work of compensation, support and resettlement regarding land acquisition.
