On May 11th, the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee announced that, following a meeting with investors in the economic zone and industrial parks, Vice Chairman Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang requested the Economic Zone Management Board to proactively monitor each project, thoroughly understand the reasons for delays, and provide support and solutions.
In cases where businesses encounter difficulties with processes and procedures, detailed and specific guidance must be provided to ensure timely and accurate implementation according to regulations.
The leaders of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee emphasized the responsibility of the head of each agency. During the process of handling documents and procedures related to investment, construction, and the environment, delays, buck-passing, and avoidance of responsibility must be avoided.
For projects that have not yet been implemented but still have investment deadlines, Mr. Hoang requested that inspection teams work with project investors to understand the situation, provide timely support and guidance, resolve difficulties and obstacles, and expedite the completion of legal procedures to accelerate construction progress.
In particular, for projects that have been extended or repeatedly extended but have not actually commenced construction, Mr. Hoang requested an urgent review, handling, and revocation of the projects in accordance with regulations.

Regarding the Allia Resort tourism project, the Ky Co - Nhon Ly tourism project, and the Outward Bound Vietnam life skills education project, the leaders of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee requested that these projects be implemented urgently to ensure progress according to regulations.
Specifically for projects in the Border Economic Zone (wood processing and furniture manufacturing plant for export, mushroom cultivation and processing plant, and commercial and service area construction project), investors need to proactively review and reassess the investment efficiency. If it is not feasible, they should submit a written request to the competent authority to terminate the operation in accordance with regulations.
Regarding projects that are behind schedule, Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, requested that investors urgently complete the necessary documents, procedures, and construction permits to begin construction immediately.
Specifically, the projects include: the Export and Domestic Consumption Agricultural Products Processing Plant (Bao Hoang One-Member Limited Liability Company); the Granite and Basalt Processing Plant (Hiep Loi Private Enterprise); the Consumer Industrial Goods Manufacturing Plant (Thang Long Business Development Joint Stock Company); and the Phuc Thinh Hoang Materials Manufacturing Plant (Phuc Thinh Hoang Limited Liability Company).
"In cases where investors fail to implement, implement inadequately, or fail to ensure progress, the Economic Zone Management Board will complete the dossier and handle the matter according to the law," the Vice Chairman of Gia Lai province directed.
