Artists gather to celebrate 30 years of Mai Vang Awards

At the program, journalist Bui Thanh Liem - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper - Head of the Organizing Committee of the 30th Mai Vang Award - 2024, shared: "The development journey of the Mai Vang Award over 30 years has connected readers, audiences and artists in all fields. According to journalist Bui Thanh Liem, the new feature of the 30th Mai Vang Award is the combination of artists from three regions: North - Central - South. In addition, from the two components "Mai Vang Nhan Ai" and "Mai Vang Tri An" organized by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Nam A Bank has presented more than 800 meaningful gifts to artists, teachers, intellectuals, scientists ... who have made many contributions to the country.

The Organizing Committee also received positive responses from artists, to contribute to the fund to care for sick and lonely artists.

Artist Le Sa Long painted a large-scale portrait of 30 outstanding artists who still retain the affection of readers and audiences nationwide after being awarded the Mai Vang Award. This painting will be auctioned to continue accompanying the "Mai Vang Tri An" program of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper. In addition, the Organizing Committee also held a photo exhibition "Journey of 30 years of Mai Vang Award". This is a theme that recreates the 30-year journey of Mai Vang Award, from its early days to the present.

The exhibition displays memorable memories, historical moments and important turning points of the Mai Vang Award in two phases. Phase 1 is exhibited at the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper (morning of October 24) and at the City Theater on January 8, 2025.

Painter Le Sa Long, who painted portraits of 30 outstanding artists, said the painting is expected to have the 30-year Mai Vang trophy in the middle, surrounded by portraits of the artists, and a yellow apricot branch below. The Organizing Committee further informed that People's Artist Tra Giang donated the painting, which was painted by the female artist herself, and will be auctioned at the 30th Mai Vang Awards Ceremony on January 8, 2025. All proceeds will be donated to the "Mai Vang Gratitude" fund.

Musician Vo Cong Anh said he saw the Mai Vang Award constantly developing and reaching national level.
