Attracting many premieres is one of the criteria that make up the brand of a film festival. This is considered a good sign for DANAFF, because filmmakers in the region have known about the Film Festival and trusted it with their “newborn children”.

Notably, in the Asian Film category this time, there is Family Secrets - a film starring Kim Hye Eun, a star who has participated in films such as Itaewon Class, Twenty Five Twenty One. The film Family Secrets is a touching family story, revolving around a family's journey of healing after losing a loved one. Lee Sang Hoon - the film's director is also highly appreciated for works such as Windmill (2023) or New Old Story (2018).

The film The Father of Mongolian cinema will create curiosity for audiences who want to explore the social life of Mongolia - a country whose cinema is rarely mentioned on the map of the seventh art. Another Southeast Asian representative is the film Out of Order from the Philippines. A thrilling and suspenseful film, it tells the story of a clumsy young lawyer forced to defend his estranged father when he is accused of a brutal murder.

In the Asian Cinema Panorama program, there are two notable Korean works that will have their international premiere at DANAFF: My Friend is a Murderer and Extreme Family. These two films feature stars such as Lee Il Hwa (Reply 1988) and Ji Seung Hyun (Descendants of the Sun).
